From the scrap or scratch

I cannot help myself to stop writing now,  may be because of this lockdown situation. There are many things going in my mind that I just want to tell everyone.

During this quarantine, we have all started embracing our hobbies or trying to build new ones. I am just experimenting new recipes at home. (Just to FYI, I am the person who never cooks, so now you can imagine the situation of my family members). I tried making “gobi paratha” and ended up with “gobi bhajji”.  I did not give up, next time I tried to make “pathiri rice roti” and end up making “divasi” (like momos but without stuffing).

I am not writing this to tell about how terrible a cook I am. My point is when you start to build/make something (anything like cooking, your career, your business, etc.) with some picture in your mind, sometimes you may not able to make what you had in mind. It is hard to start from scratch, so instead of throwing away your efforts as scrap,  you can use your scrap and try to think of other ways to mold it and create a new picture (like my recipes). So just do not give up on anything; you will somehow find a way to build something new either from the scrap or scratch.

And yes, my “gobi bhajji”s were tasty and crispy!
